Senior Forward Deployed Engineer (Global AI)

About the Company

Our client is a venture capital-backed firm ranked among the world's leading artificial intelligence companies. They are seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to deliver AI-driven solutions for enterprise clients throughout the Asia-Pacific region.

Role and Responsibilities

This role is a hands-on engineering position focused on full-stack development, acting as the bridge between customers and the product team. The engineer will manage customer deployments from start to finish and relay valuable user feedback to improve the product. Travel within APAC will be required for 30-50% of the time.

• Manage end-to-end enterprise customer projects, from requirements gathering to production launch.
• Architect and implement AI and large language model-based solutions customized to client needs.
• Build integration layers and reliable production systems using Python and JavaScript.
• Conduct technical presentations and engage with customers regionally.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to address customer challenges.
• Identify product shortcomings and work with Engineering to drive enhancements.

Candidate Requirements

• Between 3 to 8 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years focused on AI engineering.
• Strong foundation in full-stack software development with proficiency in Python or JavaScript.
• Background working within deep technology firms.
• Experience in client-facing technical roles, adept at communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Fluency in Mandarin and English to effectively interact with a diverse international customer base.
• Residence in Singapore or Hong Kong with willingness to travel 30-50% across the APAC region.
