Position Overview

An established and expanding financial advisory firm based in Sandyford, Dublin seeks a motivated Senior Financial Advisor to manage and expand an existing portfolio of high-net-worth professional clients. The clientele consists of medical consultants, GPs, dentists, physiotherapists, vets, surveyors, and other seasoned professionals. The role involves providing expert advice on income protection, pensions, investments, and wealth planning.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of a portfolio of professional clients, offering trusted advice on income protection, wealth creation, and future financial planning.
• Perform a thorough review of the client portfolio within the first 90 days to identify advisory opportunities.
• Design and implement personalized financial plans that achieve client objectives and generate recurring revenue.
• Expand assets under advice and generate new business, aiming for at least 20% portfolio growth in the initial year.
• Establish no fewer than 15 new high-net-worth professional client relationships yearly via referrals, professional networks, and direct outreach.
• Maintain enduring relationships to ensure high client retention, referrals, and sustained business growth.
• Ensure all advice complies fully with MiFID and the Consumer Protection Code 2012.
• Consistently meet or surpass individual and team performance goals.
• Represent the company at professional and industry events to enhance its reputation and cultivate new opportunities.

Candidate Profile

• Fully qualified with a QFA designation and relevant tertiary education.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a financial advisor.
• Prior experience serving high-net-worth clients, preferably in medical or professional services sectors.
• Proven expertise in managing, retaining, and expanding an existing client portfolio.
• Strong skills in business development and relationship cultivation.
• In-depth understanding of Irish pensions, investments, protection products, and associated tax issues.
• Good grasp of investment markets and principles of risk and return.
• Comprehensive knowledge of MiFID regulations and the Consumer Protection Code 2012.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational capabilities.
• Possession of a full Irish driving licence.
