Overview
Join Honeywell Technologies as a Senior Field Service Technician based in Alice Springs, Northern Territory. This role offers the opportunity to engage with challenging projects, collaborate with innovative and diverse professionals, and contribute to advancing the electronic security industry by addressing customer needs with tailored technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Interact directly with clients to evaluate their security needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Develop customized security system solutions focusing on Electronic Access Control Systems (EACS), CCTV, and alarm technologies.
- Work closely with the Field Service Supervisor to ensure quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Provide specialized knowledge about Honeywell's products and services to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions.
- Conduct servicing and maintenance for both Honeywell and third-party security equipment, supported by company training.
- Configure security hardware and software systems accurately to meet specifications.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair faults in security systems efficiently.
Candidate Requirements
- Professional experience as a Security Technician or Electrician is essential.
- Capacity to comprehend and explain electronic security system solutions to clients, with training provided.
- Exceptional communication abilities paired with a strong customer-oriented mindset.
- Highly motivated and capable of performing independently without continuous supervision.
- Willingness to be on-call and participate in a rotating work schedule as necessary.
