Join us as a Senior Executive in our Production Business Unit based at our Toansa location, where continuous improvement and teamwork are prioritized.

Primary Duties

  • Oversee day-to-day production plant operations, ensuring scheduled manufacturing targets are met while maintaining quality and cost requirements.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to minimize waste and reduce water usage in the production process.
  • Maintain and update all essential process, regulatory, statutory, and engineering documents within the relevant modules.
  • Ensure all production activities adhere strictly to approved written procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Manage issuance of Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) and Equipment Cleaning Records (ECR) for intermediate or API production in line with current SOPs.
  • Execute all necessary SAP, Trackwise CAPA, LMS, and DCM responsibilities pertinent to the role.
  • Participate in preparation, review, and approval of SOPs assigned to the role.
  • Conduct and review risk impact analyses, risk assessments, and periodic risk reassessments.
  • Monitor trends in quality and production indicators for intermediates and APIs.
  • Ensure all equipment calibrations are conducted timely and documented properly.
  • Oversee timely maintenance of equipment and plant facilities and maintain related records.
  • Ensure adherence to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), safety guidelines, SOPs, statutory regulations, and company codes of conduct within the plant.
  • Lead training and development initiatives for subordinate staff while pursuing personal learning and development.
  • Maintain high standards of employee discipline, motivation, morale, and foster harmonious industrial relations within the plant.
  • Ensure completion and oversight of all necessary plant maintenance activities.
  • Maintain plant readiness at all times to facilitate inspections.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical discipline or Master of Science in Chemistry.
  • Between 12 to 16 years of professional experience within an Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of cGMP standards, FDA regulations, and industry best practices.
