Job description
Overview
We are seeking a Senior Executive in Facility Management to ensure seamless daily operations and maintenance within our data center environment. This role requires managing critical Mechanical & Electrical systems, maintaining exceptional client relations, and adhering to stringent safety and quality standards to guarantee uninterrupted data center functionality.
Key Responsibilities
- Foster and maintain positive, professional relationships with both internal teams and external clients.
- Respond promptly to all customer service inquiries and emergency calls received during shift hours.
- Support the Operation Lead in overseeing daily data center operations and periodic preventive maintenance to secure 100% uptime of critical infrastructure.
- Perform daily inspections throughout the data center, documenting any equipment faults or defects, and maintain detailed records on mechanical and electrical assets.
- Continuously monitor the Front of Center (FOC) area and ensure rapid response to EPMS, BMS, and fire system alarms, following escalation protocols as necessary.
- Complete daily environmental and critical system checklists to promptly identify and resolve abnormalities.
- Oversee subcontractor induction processes, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and operational procedures through thorough review of method statements, risk assessments, and MSDS documentation.
- Maintain logs tracking instrument readings, equipment status, and consumable inventory.
- Report any unsecured doors or racks immediately to security control.
- Conduct thorough briefings and handovers to Shift Duty Technicians detailing all unresolved issues and standing instructions from senior management.
- Document and file incident reports and field service activities accordingly.
- Adhere strictly to all quality, health and safety, and environmental policies within the critical environment domain.
- Comply fully with site-specific policies, guidelines, and procedures.
- Be prepared to travel internationally for assignments or tasks as directed by supervisors or department heads.
- Undertake any additional responsibilities reasonably assigned by immediate supervisors or higher management.
