Role Overview and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the account sales team to assess and qualify customer requirements and engage in presales activities for designated sectors and accounts.
• Gather, analyze, and define both business and technical needs, taking into account regulations, market drivers, and ecosystem factors.
• Lead and influence all technical and RFI/RFP opportunities stemming from assigned accounts, taking clear ownership of solution design.
• Create and maintain architecture specifications, including blueprints, reference models, and standards, ensuring consistent adoption throughout projects.
• Assess emerging technologies, platforms, tools, and frameworks (such as quantum computing, AI/ML, big data, integration, APIs) and recommend adoption or phase-out of current technologies.
• Promote standardization, reusability, and simplification across architectural landscapes by reducing redundancies, rationalizing applications, and aligning data models, establishing best practices, guidelines, and operational models.
• Support proof-of-concept and pilot initiatives as needed to validate technologies and approaches.
• Stay abreast of competitive landscape analyses to identify Singtel's differentiators compared to competitors.
• Identify technology-driven business value opportunities focusing on cost efficiency, robustness, and future-proofing of solutions.
• Lead strategic account and industry planning alongside account teams to align technical expertise with market strategies.
• Manage complex solutions involving multiple business units or cross-functional needs from design to operational handover.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, solution architects, infrastructure teams, operations, and vendors to align goals, resolve compromises, and support solution delivery.
• Represent Singtel at marketing and industry events including conferences, trade shows, and webinars.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
• A minimum of five years’ experience in IT architecture roles, preferably within telecommunications or large enterprise environments.
• Proficient knowledge in networking, digital platforms, or Managed Services.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and influencing abilities, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical or executive audiences.
• Professional certifications such as ITIL, CCNA, or TOGAF are advantageous.
