About the Role
Join WSP in Auckland as a Senior Stormwater Engineer and contribute to impactful multidisciplinary projects across New Zealand. In this role, you will manage task allocations, and support project planning and coordination. You will prepare detailed and practical designs, specifications, reports, and drawings that meet review standards and deliver buildable stormwater solutions. Collaboration with other disciplines and stakeholders will be key in delivering complex projects that satisfy client expectations.
Key Projects
You will engage with transformative initiatives including Blue-Green networks, new major highways, upgrades of pipes and culverts, water quality designs, ponds, wetlands, and stream restoration projects, playing a crucial role in developing essential infrastructure for Auckland and communities nationwide.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a BE in Engineering (preferable).
- Preferably come from a consulting background.
- Hold Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or be near submission.
- Have at least seven years of professional experience in stormwater infrastructure design.
- Be proficient with Civil 3D, 12D, and other design software.
- Experience and training in project management is advantageous.
- Demonstrate creativity, solution-focused approach, and be collaborative and relationship-oriented.
- Hold a current clean driver’s licence.
