About the Company
This opportunity is with a manufacturing company located in Manesar, India, specializing in sheet metal production and related processes.
Role Overview and Responsibilities
The position requires strong practical expertise within the sheet metal manufacturing sector, with particular focus on maintenance in press shop operations and sheet metal machinery. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth functioning of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems through effective maintenance strategies. Leadership and team management abilities are essential to oversee maintenance operations.
- Manage and perform preventive, breakdown, and predictive maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machinery breakdowns swiftly and accurately.
- Oversee maintenance planning and scheduling including spare parts management.
- Maintain and utilize maintenance MIS for monitoring and reporting purposes.
Candidate Qualifications and Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience in the sheet metal manufacturing industry.
- Comprehensive knowledge of press shop equipment and sheet metal production machines.
- Proven expertise in hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical maintenance techniques.
- Demonstrated team leadership and management skills.
- Strong understanding of preventive, breakdown, and predictive maintenance methodologies.
- Ability to plan maintenance activities and manage spare parts efficiently.
- Familiarity with maintenance information systems (MIS) is required.
Eligibility and Education
Applicants should hold a B.Tech or B.E. degree in Automobile Engineering, Production and Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Candidates with a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Vocational Courses, or production-related engineering disciplines will also be considered.
