Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Engineer specializing in Analog Design within our Timing and Communication Group. This role supports the creation of high-performance analog and mixed-signal IP for SoC products. The position demands disciplined engineering practices, collaboration with technical leaders, and the production of robust, manufacturable silicon solutions. Ideal candidates are those who appreciate strong fundamental engineering, methodical designs, and contributing to products that have extended lifecycle and real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and simulate analog IP components for mixed-signal SoC devices.
  • Collaborate closely with design leads to translate circuit requirements into production-ready designs.
  • Conduct PVT (Process, Voltage, Temperature) corner analysis and block-level modeling.
  • Support silicon validation processes and laboratory characterization activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Electrical Engineering. Recent PhD graduates with pertinent experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Approximately 3 to 5 years of professional experience in analog or mixed-signal integrated circuit design.
  • Hands-on experience with circuits such as PLLs/DLLs, ADCs/DACs, analog filters, or high-speed input/output interfaces.
  • Solid analog design fundamentals and proficiency with Cadence IC design tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Research background that directly benefits practical analog design applications.
  • Experience in Verilog-A modeling techniques.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages and automation tools such as Skill, Python, Perl, or Tcl.
  • Exposure to silicon bring-up and laboratory validation processes.

Additional Information

This position is an individual contributor role at the senior engineer level and does not involve principal-level system architecture responsibilities.

Expected travel ranges from 0% to 25% of the time depending on project needs.

The compensation package includes a competitive base salary with annual ranges between $90,000 and $140,000, plus restricted stock units, quarterly bonuses, and comprehensive health benefits starting on day one. Additional benefits encompass retirement savings plans and a distinguished Employee Stock Purchase Plan (IESPP) with a six-month look-back feature.
