Role Overview

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will spearhead the design and delivery of electrical building services systems for various projects. Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and other stakeholders, you will ensure projects meet high standards and deliver successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead electrical design from initial concept through project completion on multiple assignments.
  • Prepare comprehensive design calculations, specifications, and technical reports.
  • Coordinate effectively with mechanical engineers and other disciplines involved.
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to maintain quality and efficiency.
  • Provide mentorship and support for junior engineering staff.
  • Engage directly with clients and actively participate in project-related meetings.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
  • Extensive experience in building services design within consultancy settings.
  • Strong expertise in electrical systems including power and lighting.
  • Track record of delivering projects in commercial, residential, or life sciences sectors.
  • Excellent skills in communication and stakeholder management.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and priorities efficiently.
  • Progression towards, or attainment of, Chartered Engineer status is advantageous.
