Role Summary

The Senior Director of Security Architecture will spearhead the design and ongoing management of the company’s security architecture. This executive role involves leading a skilled team responsible for crafting security frameworks, performing threat modeling, evaluating security risks, and establishing security requirements to ensure a strong security foundation. The scope covers cloud platform security, application security, data security, and AI security across a substantial engineering organization comprising more than 800 developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement a strategic vision for security architecture aligned with corporate goals, encompassing both product and enterprise security domains.
• Lead and nurture the Security Architecture team across the US and Israel, fostering professional growth and a continuous improvement culture.
• Manage the security champions program to empower employees organization-wide to uphold and advocate security best practices.
• Supervise secure software development lifecycle processes, ensuring integration of controls such as threat modeling and vulnerability assessments.
• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate security risks through proactive measures and controls deployment.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to promote security adoption and advance the security agenda throughout the company.
• Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures in compliance with industry regulations and standards.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline; advanced degree is advantageous.
• At least 15 years of information security experience, including a minimum of 5 years in leadership roles managing security architecture governance.
• Comprehensive knowledge of security architecture frameworks and models.
• Demonstrated excellence in leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience leading complex security programs within a global company environment.
• Background in cloud security architectures and technologies, with preference for SaaS industry and multi-cloud environments.
