Role Overview

We are seeking a technically proficient Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Infrastructure department in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role entails supervising and sustaining Linux-based servers and infrastructure, collaborating with Saudi financial regulators, and supporting seamless cloud operations and security compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain Linux server environments to ensure system reliability.
• Engage professionally in meetings and communications with Saudi regulatory bodies, including the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA).
• Conduct ongoing maintenance of infrastructure located within Saudi Arabia.
• Design and implement scalable, dependable cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Create and manage cloud platforms optimized for running various software services.
• Automate processes for infrastructure provisioning and deployment.
• Respond promptly to infrastructure outages, ensuring operational continuity through effective emergency management.
• Apply security hardening measures compliant with PCI-DSS standards.
• Enhance system observability and monitoring capabilities for proactive issue detection.

Candidate Expectations

• Practical knowledge and experience in DevOps methodologies, focusing on Linux system maintenance rather than automation development.
• Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Citrix is a significant advantage.
• Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and maintain clear communication with Saudi Arabia’s Central Bank (SAMA).
• Fluency in spoken and written Arabic is required.

Technical Stack

The technical environment includes Linux, Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform components (GKE, Pub/Sub, Cloud PostgreSQL, Spanner), Datadog for monitoring, Gitlab, Cloudflare, Elasticsearch, Terragrunt, Istio, Vault, ArgoCD, Helm, and Go programming language.
