This setup ensures both stability and agility, enabling quick adaptation to market trends.
Our engineering-first culture drives teams to tackle internet-scale challenges, from processing massive data volumes to optimizing AI-driven systems and making real-time infrastructure decisions. Our engineers have significant influence in shaping the future of advertising through thoughtful and rapid innovation grounded in core values.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to leverage extensive experience in applied data science and large-scale optimization. This role involves guiding the technological strategy across the Index Exchange platform concerning machine learning and optimization, as well as leading practical execution and continuous enhancement.

- Collaborate closely with machine learning engineers and architects to build production-grade, data-focused solutions.
- Bring innovative ideas driven by an entrepreneurial spirit to solve complex problems effectively.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years’ experience in data science or machine learning, applying both statistical and technical skills in operational, production environments.
- Proven background in handling data science applications at internet scale rather than purely research-focused roles.
- Advanced knowledge of statistical methods with experience especially in classification, prediction, and time series modeling.
- Skill in presenting complex scientific results clearly to broad technical audiences.
- History of leveraging advanced data modeling to guide technology development effectively.
- Track record working successfully in cross-functional teams to deliver pragmatic technology solutions.
- Expertise in practical application of data science and optimization at industrial scale; experience with industry-scale platforms is preferred.
- Strong programming skills in Python (pandas, numpy, SciKit-learn essential); familiarity with Scala is advantageous.
- Background or familiarity with digital marketing, advertising, or analytics is beneficial.
- Experience working in intricate system engineering contexts is a plus.

- Equity compensation packages.
- Generous parental leave available to all types of parents, including birthing and adoptive.
