Role Overview

This position entails the design, creation, and deployment of forward-thinking models and solutions using various quantitative and AI techniques, including machine learning, optimization, neural networks, and agentic AI approaches within computer vision and other domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and implement sophisticated models covering machine learning, AI, optimization, and neural network technologies.
• Work closely with business teams to comprehend needs, define challenges, and transform them into practical data science applications.
• Investigate complex datasets to identify patterns, insights, and enable data-informed decisions using statistical analysis.
• Build proofs-of-concept, prototypes, and production-ready solutions that deliver tangible business benefits.
• Lead and promote data science and AI best practices and innovation across various projects.
• Produce and assess technical design documents, ensuring they meet architectural standards and are clear and comprehensive.
• Participate in innovation efforts, including development of intellectual property and contributing to patent filings.
• Collaborate with international teams on joint data science initiatives, fostering knowledge exchange.
• Support technical leadership in Singapore to ensure projects are executed efficiently and delivered on schedule.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Demonstrated expertise in developing and deploying machine learning and AI solutions within production or business frameworks.
• Strong foundation in statistical methods, predictive modeling, and data analysis.
• Proficiency in Python programming and familiarity with libraries/frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
• Experience handling large-scale datasets, data processing tools, and cloud environments is advantageous.
• Hands-on experience in AI sectors like Generative AI, optimization, or deep learning is preferred.
• Understanding of data engineering concepts, pipelines, and model deployment processes is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, translating business requirements into technical implementations.
• Strong communication abilities to effectively present complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Capability to thrive in diverse, cross-functional global teams.

Educational Background and Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor, Master, or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Relevant experience in machine learning, computer vision, generative AI, data analytics, or predictive modeling applied to Product Test Engineering or Semiconductor Manufacturing.
• Exposure to cloud platforms, database technologies, and data engineering or deployment methodologies.
• Familiarity with visualization tools such as Power BI, Tibco Spotfire, or Python libraries for data visualization.
• Knowledge of advanced AI areas like deep learning, computer vision, optimization techniques, or large language models (LLMs).
