Role Overview

We are expanding our Information Technology team in Navi Mumbai by recruiting a full-time Data Engineer. This role focuses on developing and supporting data engineering and business intelligence projects that contribute significantly to our organizational success. The position is office-based and offers a stimulating environment for career growth using existing skills and opportunities to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage data warehousing solutions and business intelligence systems using technologies such as Snowflake, ANSI SQL, SQL Server, and T-SQL.
• Employ Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) and Extract, Load, Transform (ELT) tools including dbt, Azure Data Factory, and SSIS for software design and programming.
• Design, enhance, and maintain Microsoft Power BI dashboards and reporting tools.
• Gather, analyze, and document business and user requirements accurately.
• Contribute to software validation by creating and executing test plans, cases, and scripts.
• Follow the complete software development lifecycle including requirements, design, development, testing, release, and maintenance phases.
• Maintain clear communication with colleagues about projects, tools, methodologies, and updates.
• Offer end-user support services such as application setup, installation, and ongoing maintenance.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years’ experience in data engineering roles.
• Proficiency in dimensional data modeling, understanding star and snowflake schema advantages and constraints.
• Strong ETL development and reporting skills built on a solid grasp of business processes and metrics.
• Hands-on knowledge of Snowflake cloud data warehouse, Fivetran data integration, and dbt transformations is advantageous.
• Python programming skills are preferred.
• Familiarity with REST API development and usage.
• Basic competency in SQL Server database management.
• Experience with C# and Azure development is beneficial.
• Excellent analytical abilities and strong verbal and written communication skills.
