Staff Data Scientist - Generative AI Studios

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Staff Data Scientist specializing in generative AI, particularly in audio and video generation models. Key Responsibilities

• Conceive, prototype, and optimize deep learning models for text-to-video and image-to-video generation using advanced generative AI methods such as diffusion models, transformers, and temporal GANs.
• Build and maintain reliable pipelines for dataset preparation, preprocessing, model training, and evaluation, incorporating automated visual, temporal, and semantic quality assessments.
• Lead the end-to-end data science feature development from ideation through production, aligning with strategic objectives and ensuring impactful business results.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and leadership to identify use cases, prioritize initiatives, and deliver production-level AI solutions.
• Design and analyze A/B tests, adapt based on performance data, and ensure compliance with product experience and creative quality standards.
• Keep abreast of advancements in generative AI, guide strategic directions, disseminate knowledge internally, and represent the team in technical discussions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Extensive experience with generative deep learning architectures, including diffusion models, transformers, and GANs.
• Strong expertise in large language models (LLMs), encompassing fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and evaluating foundational models for multimodal generation applications.
• Familiarity with computer vision, natural language processing, and multimodal learning concepts.
• Proficient in machine learning evaluation methodologies, such as perceptual quality metrics and user-in-the-loop testing.
• Advanced programming skills in Python, R, and SQL.
• Experience working with big data technologies including Hadoop and Spark, as well as cloud platforms like AWS and Google Cloud.
• Exceptional communication abilities to convey complex technical details effectively to non-technical audiences.

Preferred Education and Experience

Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative disciplines.

At least 7 years of practical data science experience, with recent years focused on generative AI stacks involving audio and video modalities.
