About the Role
Join Splunk, a Cisco company, as a Senior Cybersecurity Solutions Engineer based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This hybrid full-time role involves partnering with sales teams to deliver expert technical guidance on advanced security operations solutions. You will help enterprise clients navigate security challenges by designing tailored, integrated security workflows that enhance digital resilience across hybrid multi-cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and sustain strong partnerships with clients and collaborators to promote growth within the cybersecurity sector.
- Work closely with account teams to ensure alignment with sales strategies by providing comprehensive support including presentations, proposals, and resolution of technical issues related to SecOps.
- Demonstrate the capabilities and benefits of Splunk cybersecurity products both onsite and via remote webinars or field events to potential buyers.
- Architect and customize integrated security workflows especially targeted at enterprise and financial clients to address their regulatory and operational requirements.
- Lead Proof of Value engagements and manage technical integrations to affirm solution effectiveness and secure technical approvals.
- Apply methodical and analytical problem-solving to overcome sales challenges and expedite sales cycles.
- Mentor less experienced team members, sharing cybersecurity expertise and shaping team strategies to prepare for future leadership roles.
Qualifications and Experience
- Over 10 years of experience in technical sales, pre-sales, or solution architecture specifically within cybersecurity.
- Proven capability in crafting and implementing integrated workflows in Security Operations (SecOps) contexts.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise cybersecurity platforms like Palo Alto Networks Cortex, Chronicle, Microsoft Defender, or Fortinet.
- Familiarity with conducting Proof of Value initiatives and technical demonstrations of security solutions.
- Previous engagement with enterprise clients in Saudi Arabia.
Preferred Skills and Credentials
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, SANS, or vendor-specific qualifications.
- Experience leading technical teams and directing pre-sales strategic initiatives.
- Knowledge of contemporary application architectures such as Kubernetes, Docker, or serverless technologies.
- Programming proficiency in Python, Java, or Go.
- Understanding of AI concepts including Large Language Models and Generative AI frameworks applied to security analytics.
- Awareness of digital resilience principles that integrate security solutions for business continuity.
- Strong communication and presentation skills that effectively convey complex technical ideas to varied audiences.
Additional Information
- Work Schedule: 48 hours per week.
- Employment Type: Hybrid (partially remote, partially onsite).
