Role Overview
Take charge of independently analyzing, assessing, and underwriting intricate cyber risks while crafting customized and innovative insurance solutions tailored to the dynamic cyber market landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough, autonomous evaluation and underwriting of complex cyber risk exposures.
- Design and implement bespoke insurance products addressing evolving cyber threats.
- Lead confident negotiations on contracts and pricing with brokers, major clients, and other stakeholders.
- Continuously monitor pertinent market trends and proactively contribute expertise to advance the strategic direction and product development of the cyber portfolio.
- Collaborate closely with sales, IT, claims management teams, and external partners to ensure alignment and efficacy.
- Assist in the creation and delivery of underwriting guidelines and share knowledge to support team growth.
Candidate Profile
- Degree holder in law, economics, computer science, or IT security.
- Several years of experience as a (Senior) Underwriter specializing in cyber insurance.
- Strong insurance risk assessment expertise combined with analytical skills in evaluating and enhancing IT security measures.
- Decisive and confident managing complex risk portfolios, with proven negotiation abilities.
- Excellent communication skills enabling clear explanation of complex topics.
- Independent, organized, and solution-driven work attitude aiming to actively develop the division collaboratively.
