Role Overview

You will independently analyze, evaluate, and underwrite complex cyber risks while designing tailored and innovative insurance solutions that address the evolving challenges of the cyber market.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct autonomous analysis and risk assessment of intricate cyber threats.
• Develop customized and innovative insurance products to meet the dynamic demands of the cyber insurance sector.
• Lead confident negotiations on contracts and pricing with brokers, major clients, and other partners.
• Continuously monitor relevant market trends and actively contribute your expertise to strategically and product-wise advance our cyber portfolio.
• Collaborate closely with sales, IT, claims management, and external partners.
• Support the creation and training of underwriting guidelines while sharing your knowledge with colleagues.

Candidate Profile

• Several years of experience as a (Senior) Underwriter specializing in cyber insurance.
• Strong insurance expertise and pronounced analytical skills for evaluating and optimizing IT security measures.
• Decisive and confident in managing complex risks, with proficiency in negotiation techniques.
• Excellent communication skills, able to simplify complex topics for various audiences.
• Independent, structured, and solution-focused approach with a commitment to actively developing the division within a team setting.
• Completed degree in Law, Economics, Computer Science, or IT Security.
