Senior Cyber Underwriter

Role Overview

As a Senior Cyber Underwriter, you will independently analyze, assess, and underwrite complex cyber risks. You will craft customized and innovative insurance solutions tailored to the evolving challenges of the cyber insurance market. You will confidently lead contract and pricing negotiations with brokers, large clients, and other business partners.

Collaboration and Market Development

You will continuously monitor relevant market trends and actively contribute your specialist knowledge to the strategic and product development of our cyber insurance portfolio. Close cooperation with sales, IT, claims management, and external partners is a key element of your role. Additionally, you will assist in the development and training of underwriting guidelines and share your expertise with colleagues.

Requirements

• Several years of experience as a Senior Underwriter specializing in cyber insurance.
• Strong technical insurance knowledge combined with analytical skills to evaluate and enhance IT security measures.
• Decisiveness and confidence in managing complex risks and conducting negotiations.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Independent, structured, and solution-focused approach, with the ambition to actively contribute to team growth within the division.
• Completed studies in law, economics, computer science, or IT security.
