About the Role

As a Senior Contract Manager based at NEOM in Al Jawf, Saudi Arabia, you will deliver contractual leadership for a major program, working closely with the client's commercial team, project leadership, and key stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Oversee contract administration throughout all project phases to ensure adherence to contractual commitments, processes, and deadlines.
- Analyze proposal requests, tender documentation, and contract clauses to detect commercial risks, obligations, and compliance issues.
- Lead or assist in negotiations for complex, sensitive, or high-value contract matters.
- Offer expert contract guidance to clients, project management, and stakeholders.
- Track contract performance, identify risks, manage variations, claims, and commercial concerns, and provide timely, clear reports.
- Support preparation, evaluation, and negotiation of claims, contract changes, and variations.
- Collaborate with project, commercial, procurement, and legal teams to resolve contractual challenges and facilitate successful project delivery.
- Provide technical leadership to contracts staff to promote uniformity, compliance, and commercial best practices.
- Maintain comprehensive records of contracts, communications, notices, and supporting documents.
- Contribute to continuous enhancements by staying current with contractual standards and industry trends.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related field from an internationally recognized institution.
- At least 20 years of relevant professional experience.
- Chartered status through a professional body such as RICS, CIOB, or an equivalent.
- Strong background in managing contracts for major infrastructure, building, or complex development projects.
- Deep expertise in contract administration, commercial negotiations, risk assessment, cost planning, and claims management.
- Demonstrated leadership in contract management, technical mentorship, and handling complex or sensitive contractual issues.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities, capable of engaging confidently with clients, project teams, and senior management.
