Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Commercial Analyst to join our Commercial Finance team at our Brisbane headquarters. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, this key role is essential in delivering commercial outcomes, aiding strategic decision-making, and ensuring cohesive alignment across global teams. The core focus is on supporting international sales, pricing, and product teams to contribute to strategic sales, pricing policies, product launches, and business growth efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide commercial insights and support strategic decision-making by partnering closely with sales, legal, engineering, operations, and finance teams as a trusted advisor.
• Lead the deals desk and manage pricing strategies and operations to ensure profitable agreements aligned with corporate objectives and revenue targets.
• Oversee the commercial evaluation and support for new products and business initiatives, maintaining alignment of pricing, compensation, commercial terms, and financial processes with company strategies.
• Assist in the design, analysis, and management of sales commission structures to align incentives with company and revenue goals.
• Prepare and deliver regular financial reporting including performance updates, forecasts, variance analysis, and develop dashboards with key performance indicators to monitor commercial strategy effectiveness.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related disciplines; CPA, CFA, or similar qualifications preferred.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in commercial finance or financial planning and analysis, preferably within a global corporate setting.
• Strong communication skills capable of conveying complex commercial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
• Entrepreneurial attitude with enthusiasm for addressing complex commercial problems.
• Highly organized, self-driven, and able to work autonomously while collaborating within a global remote team.
• Experience working cross-functionally with sales, product, engineering, and legal teams is advantageous.
• Advanced analytical abilities including financial modeling and proficiency with tools such as Excel, Power BI, and Salesforce.
