Role Overview

We are partnering with a reputable and expanding insurance broker based in South Yorkshire to recruit a Senior Commercial Account Handler. Key Responsibilities

You will manage a portfolio of commercial clients, performing comprehensive account handling tasks including renewals, Mid-Term Adjustments (MTAs), policy administration, and daily client service. Collaboration with Account Executives and insurers is essential to ensure excellent service and client retention. Additionally, you will serve as a technical expert within the team and cultivate strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and insurer partners.

Desired Experience and Skills

• At least three years of commercial insurance account handling experience at an insurance broker.
• In-depth technical knowledge of various commercial insurance products.
• Proficiency in managing renewals, MTAs, and client servicing duties.
• Experience liaising directly with insurers and aiding placement activities.
• Understanding of FCA regulations and the Consumer Duty framework.
• Familiarity with Acturis or similar insurance broking platforms.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to independently manage a client portfolio.
