Job Overview
The Senior Chef De Partie will support the kitchen team by preparing, producing, and serving food to a high standard to ensure satisfactory service. This role demands punctuality, adherence to hygiene and safety standards, and collaboration with fellow chefs.
Key Responsibilities
- Arrive promptly, wearing the complete uniform, and maintain proper grooming as per company standards.
- Prepare and produce dishes specific to your assigned section, maintaining agreed quality standards and working cooperatively with other kitchen staff.
- Keep all work surfaces, tables, and refrigeration units clean and organized within your area at all times.
- Adhere strictly to hygiene protocols concerning uniform, personal cleanliness, and workflow hygiene.
- Complete all required mis-en-place items before service begins to ensure smooth operations.
- Report any equipment, fixture, or fitting malfunctions to the Chef or supervisor promptly and avoid misuse of equipment.
- Follow scheduled cleaning routines diligently.
- Comply with all policies relating to Fire Safety, Health & Safety, Hygiene standards, Food Hygiene, Customer Care, and Security.
- Participate in training sessions and meetings as directed.
- Prepare and provide varied, nutritious staff meals according to agreed standards.
- Understand and uphold responsibilities outlined in the Health and Safety Statement and Staff Handbook.
- Perform any other reasonable duties as requested by Management.
- Ensure full compliance with HACCP responsibilities to maintain food safety standards.
