Job description
Company Overview
Pactos is a Munich-based B2B SaaS company providing a platform that enables enterprises to efficiently manage external workforce—from demand submission through vendor assignment to tracking timesheets, invoices, and compliance documentation. Traditionally, many organizations rely on Excel spreadsheets, emails, and master vendor arrangements, leading to poor transparency, extensive manual effort, and legal risks related to equal pay and maximum subcontracting durations. Pactos offers a software solution to overcome these challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research companies in logistics, industry, and construction sectors that rely significantly on temporary staffing as well as the staffing agencies they engage with. Pinpoint decision makers within these accounts.
- Conduct outbound outreach primarily via phone, complemented by LinkedIn and email communications.
- Lead discovery calls to understand current external workforce management processes, number of vendors used, decision-making authorities, and pain points; evaluate opportunities and decline those not viable.
- Hand over qualified opportunities with thorough documentation to founders and account executives to facilitate product demos and deal closures.
- Gather market feedback, including objections, recurring questions, and patterns, sharing these insights with product development and go-to-market teams.
- Contribute to creating sales playbooks, messaging frameworks, and outreach sequences; meticulously track activities in HubSpot.
Performance Milestones
- By 3 months: Achieve proficiency in market knowledge and product understanding to autonomously lead discovery conversations.
- By 6 months: Consistently generate well-qualified enterprise sales opportunities.
- By 12 months: Gain comprehensive exposure to enterprise sales cycles by supporting deals through to completion, preparing for progression toward an account executive role.
Candidate Profile
- Completed higher education degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in any discipline.
- Strong motivation to learn sales fundamentals, specifically in B2B SaaS and enterprise sales environments; proven sales achievements are advantageous.
- Comfortable with cold outreach and telephone conversations; able to maintain composure during challenging discussions.
- Analytical thinking skills capable of comprehending complex issues quickly and clearly summarizing them.
- Receptive to feedback, able to modify opinions based on sound arguments and hold firm against weak ones.
- Fluent in German (business level) and good proficiency in English.
Benefits
- Opportunity to engage directly with seasoned sales professionals and founders in customer meetings with frequent feedback on sales calls.
- Exposure to enterprise sales involving large deals, multiple decision makers, and meaningful negotiations rather than mass-market transactions.
- Chance to influence the development of sales playbooks and processes rather than executing predefined scripts.
- Competitive fixed salary plus unlimited commission potential.
- Use of professional sales tools including HubSpot, Aircall, Lusha, and others.
- Modern office located in central Munich with meal subsidies and support for the Germany public transit pass.
- Working with a product that addresses a genuine market need, not just a nicety.
