Job description

Role Overview

We are seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join the Sales team in London. This role serves as the initial contact point for prospective clients, representing Disguise and inspiring creatives and technologists to explore our platform dedicated to delivering extraordinary visual experiences. The position focuses on engaging, qualifying, and generating new business opportunities throughout the EMEA region while working collaboratively with global teams located from Los Angeles to London.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve weekly, monthly, and annual targets for lead generation and sales pipeline development.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to activity, lead generation, lead conversion, opportunity creation, and pipeline health on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  • Develop and implement prospecting strategies using phone calls, emails, and social media channels.
  • Research, evaluate, and qualify new leads from marketing initiatives and events according to set guidelines.
  • Manage inbound lead responses, converting prospects into qualified sales opportunities.
  • Work closely with sales managers to devise outbound pipeline strategies.
  • Understand client requirements and objectives to tailor approaches effectively.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to ensure smooth product demonstrations and handoffs.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for potential customers, making strong first impressions.
  • Lead initial discovery discussions and effectively present Disguise products.
  • Clearly articulate value propositions customized to the client’s needs.
  • Address objections creatively and provide tailored solutions.
  • Maintain precise customer data in CRM tools including Salesforce and Salesloft.
  • Keep abreast of Disguise product developments, industry news, and competitor offerings.
  • Attend approximately 2-4 industry events annually to uncover new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategic efforts and share insights.
  • Help clients understand how Disguise’s technology can support their goals and why choosing Disguise is advantageous.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years in a prospecting role involving cold calling, lead qualification, and objection handling.
  • Proven ability to cultivate and sustain robust client and partner relationships.
  • Passion for industries such as production, entertainment, live events, or broadcast media.
  • Experience in SaaS, hardware, or technical services sales is beneficial but not mandatory.
