About the Role

The Transformation and Delivery Practice leads ASB's strategic change initiatives, comprising over 400 professionals in Business Analysis, Change Management, Project Management, and related areas. This team collaborates across ASB to activate strategy, enhance operational effectiveness, and improve outcomes for customers and employees.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will convert complex challenges into straightforward, actionable plans, contributing to a variety of strategic projects. Your work will involve applying curiosity, critical analysis, and commercial acumen to help teams reach informed decisions and effect meaningful transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough business analysis evaluating customer, business, and stakeholder expectations to pinpoint value-driving opportunities and better outcomes.
  • Manage complexity effectively by bridging business requirements and technical solutions, supporting decision-making in intricate settings.
  • Establish and nurture trustworthy partnerships with stakeholders throughout ASB to foster alignment and collaborative success.
  • Think holistically by connecting detailed information to overarching goals, identifying important insights, risks, and opportunities to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Contribute actively to the Business Analysis community by sharing expertise, mentoring peers, and supporting the development of this Chapter.

Candidate Profile

  • An adaptable, positive professional with strong critical thinking and a track record of enabling excellent customer outcomes.
  • Experienced in managing a diverse range of stakeholders through all communication channels.
  • Known for collaboration and empowering approaches when addressing complex work.
  • Minimum of five years in business analysis with proven success building stakeholder relationships, navigating complicated business scenarios, and delivering results within financial services or similarly regulated industries.
  • Experience in Lending Transformation, Lending Compliance, Cards, or Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) is preferred but not mandatory.
