About the Role

Due to business growth and expansion, BNP Paribas seeks a motivated and experienced Chartered Surveyor to join its Professional Services team in Dublin. Reporting directly to the Executive Director & Head of Professional Services, the role involves managing diverse professional service tasks including valuations, rent reviews, rating, and general lease advisory work across commercial real estate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage corporate real estate related tasks, including rent reviews and lease renewal negotiations.
  • Collaborate with senior management on valuation projects, negotiations, and inspections of various commercial properties and land.
  • Meet fee-earning targets aligned with the role.
  • Participate in pre-due diligence activities adhering to Group policies.
  • Understand and contribute to achieving team revenue and profit targets.
  • Prepare accurate, well-reasoned valuations and reports.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to expand expertise.
  • Promote the Professional Services team’s profile both within the company and externally.
  • Provide reliable information to executive leadership as necessary.
  • Coordinate with other departments to cross-sell clients and services.
  • Support the development of junior surveyors and graduates.
  • Assist with research and market intelligence efforts.
  • Undertake any additional duties relevant to experience.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree-level education.
  • Membership of MSCSI or MRICS.
  • Between 1 and 2 years post-qualification experience in commercial real estate.
  • Registration as a RICS Valuer.
  • Holds a PSRA Licence.
  • Training in Argus Enterprise or an equivalent software.
  • Demonstrated expertise in rent review and lease renewal negotiations.
  • Experience conducting valuations and reports fully compliant with Red Book standards.
  • Valid full driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Soft and Technical Skills

  • Strong communication and integration ability at all organizational levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Argus Enterprise.
  • Aptitude for building and maintaining effective client relationships.
  • Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Fluent spoken and written English.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
