Job description
Position Overview
This role involves managing the processing of Corporate Actions related income and events specifically for the Singapore and Hong Kong booking centers.
Daily Responsibilities
- Reconcile custodian payment advices concerning coupons, redemptions, dividends, and mandatory events, ensuring payments to clients are processed accurately.
- Review custodian pre-notifications for coupons, redemptions, and mandatory events, preparing advance notices for the front office and clients.
- Communicate with custodians and front office teams to resolve queries about income and mandatory events.
- Monitor daily cash discrepancies to facilitate pending payments and address booking issues.
Primary Role Duties
- Perform timely and precise data entry to process all income and corporate events.
- Engage with custodians to gain clarifications on income and events.
- Address inquiries from Relationship Managers, Management Associates, and Custodians regarding incomes and events.
- Manage cash and security discrepancies, ensuring all custodian payments are properly accounted for.
- Verify and control entries concerning commission fees, or update waiver records if fees are waived.
Additional Contributions
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing initiatives.
- Contribute to workflow process improvements.
- Take part in ad hoc projects as required.
Qualifications and Skills
- Understanding of equities, bonds, and derivatives.
- Detail-oriented with a meticulous approach.
- Effective team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication capabilities.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education level.
