Senior BIM Manager

About the Role

This position involves supporting architectural design, technical coordination, and full BIM management throughout the lifecycle of project deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in architectural design efforts, including coordination of both architectural and interior design aspects.
• Create, review, and ensure compliance of CAD drawings, BIM models, and renderings with project standards.
• Establish and uphold architectural design protocols and BIM standards throughout projects.
• Perform thorough reviews of architectural and construction documentation to guarantee accuracy, compliance, and interdisciplinary coordination.
• Develop, implement, and enforce BIM-related procedures and workflows to streamline project delivery.
• Coordinate BIM models across different disciplines, resolving clashes and ensuring cohesive outputs.
• Provide technical guidance on BIM best practices to project teams.
• Carry out any additional duties pertinent to the role as necessary.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess expert-level skills in CAD, Revit, and other applicable digital design programs.
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in a related field or have equivalent professional experience.
• Bring 15 years or more of relevant industry experience.
• Have solid expertise in BIM modeling, coordination, and review methodologies.
• Demonstrate fundamental architectural and design knowledge suitable for simple to medium scale assets.
• Show extensive prior experience reviewing BIM models and architectural components.

Preferred Skills and Attributes

• Experience developing BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and setting project BIM standards.
• Strong collaborative skills to effectively work with architects, engineers, and construction professionals.
• Meticulous attention to detail with a focus on quality control.
• Effective communication capabilities to clearly articulate technical BIM concepts.
• Background working on large-scale or multidisciplinary projects is advantageous.
