Opportunity Overview
The Audit, Assurance and Reporting Advisory division in Christchurch seeks a Senior Auditor with a minimum of three years of substantial audit and assurance experience within a Chartered Accounting setting. Candidates should ideally hold professional credentials such as CA or its equivalent.
This role offers the chance to serve a broad array of clients, including corporate entities, private businesses, and public sector organizations across New Zealand. You will engage with some of the region's leading corporations and gain cross-industry exposure along with opportunities to participate in nationwide initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate audit findings effectively and advise on implementation strategies
- Critically evaluate reports, memos, and written recommendations
- Apply analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills to offer strategic business advice
- Understand complex audit and risk advisory matters, addressing stakeholder requirements
- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with clients and colleagues through clear communication
- Deliver outstanding client service by enhancing collaborative efforts locally and internationally
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- At least three years of experience performing audits in a corporate Chartered Accounting environment
- Familiarity with IFRS and New Zealand International Accounting Standards
- Strong analytical aptitude paired with proficient Excel skills
- Demonstrated project management capabilities
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within teams
- Exceptional research and problem-solving competencies
