Overview

Join eBay's global Internal Audit team, a leader in ecommerce innovation connecting millions of buyers and sellers worldwide. This role based primarily in Dublin, Ireland, involves a hybrid work model requiring at least three days per week onsite.

Role Summary

The Senior Auditor will play a pivotal role ensuring robust operational audits for eBay Inc., focusing on risk-based methodologies to identify and mitigate business risks. Working closely with internal stakeholders, the auditor will translate identified risks into actionable audit recommendations and contribute to process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct operational audit procedures, including controls testing and evaluating operational effectiveness, adhering to Internal Audit standards.
• Detect control vulnerabilities, process inefficiencies, and business risks, translating these into precise and actionable audit findings and recommendations.
• Prepare detailed audit documentation, draft concise and impactful reports, and support audit communication.
• Manage issue tracking, oversee remediation validations, and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
• Drive enhancements in audit processes to boost efficiency and organizational value delivered by Internal Audit.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of four years in internal auditing, ideally in a third-line Internal Audit environment with experience beyond standard SOX or first/second-line compliance testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with effective verbal and written communication abilities to report audit findings clearly.
• Experience in data analytics within audit activities, including proficiency with SQL for data extraction, validation, and testing.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, or CISA are advantageous.
• Capacity to juggle multiple priorities effectively in a dynamic workplace.
• Motivated, goal-driven, collaborative, with a strong emphasis on precision and accountability.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
