About the Role
NVIDIA is searching for highly skilled ASIC Verification Engineers to validate the design and implementation of top-tier System-on-Chips and GPUs. This role presents a chance to make significant contributions at a leading technology company impacting diverse product ranges including consumer graphics, autonomous vehicles, and artificial intelligence.
You will be part of a global group of exceptional engineers dedicated to pushing computing technology forward by developing high-performance processor components for programmable compute and graphics functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Take a central role in the ASIC Verification team to validate designs of industry-leading GPUs.
- Own verification activities involving ASIC design, architecture, golden models, and micro-architecture using advanced methodologies such as UVM.
- Analyze design and implementation details, define verification scope, develop infrastructure, and confirm design accuracy.
- Collaborate closely with architects, designers, and silicon verification teams both pre- and post-silicon.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of relevant ASIC verification experience.
- Expertise in verification using random stimuli, functional coverage, and assertion-based verification.
- Proficiency with design and verification tools like VCS, Debussy, and GDB.
- Strong command of SystemVerilog or similar hardware verification languages.
- Excellent debugging and analytical capabilities.
- Familiarity with Perl and C/C++ programming is advantageous.
- Experience with arbiters, interconnect networks, and/or caches is preferred.
- Strong communication skills coupled with a collaborative mindset.
- Skilled in developing testbench environments for both unit and system-level verification.
Compensation and Additional Details
Salary ranges based on level and location:
- Level 3: 125000 to 175000 CAD annually
- Level 4: 155000 to 205000 CAD annually
