Senior Architectural Designer

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Architectural Designer to join our collaborative team based in Singapore, part of the broader Scott Brownrigg international studio. This permanent, full-time role offers an exciting chance to contribute creatively and commercially to diverse projects while providing exceptional service to clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire design process, managing projects from initial concept through to completion.
• Work effectively within a team, demonstrating flexibility and cooperative spirit.
• Deliver clear and compelling presentations both verbally and through detailed drawings.
• Engage directly with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary design teams.
• Apply knowledge of different building contracts including Design & Build, Construction Management, and Traditional contracts.
• Utilize Revit and BIM software proficiently; familiarity with Rhino and Grasshopper is advantageous.
• Have a solid understanding of Singapore and regional building codes, regulations, systems, and construction methods.
• Prepare and finalize project documentation presentations using Affinity Designer, Photo, Publisher, and SketchUp.
• Effectively manage project resources and personnel.
• Meet tight deadlines while maintaining budget and quality standards.
• Adapt to changes in project briefs, schedules, or roles.
• Coordinate projects and liaise suitably with other disciplines and team members.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Architectural Graduate with RIBA Part 3 qualification or an equivalent recognized certification.
• Preferred registration with the Singapore Board of Architects; registration with other recognized professional bodies is also considered.
• Relevant experience working in Singapore and the Southeast Asian region; expertise in Data Centre and Rail sectors is a plus.
• Certification as a Singapore BCA’s Green Mark Manager or Design for Safety (DfS) preferred.
• Experience in construction phases, especially within the Indonesian context, is necessary.
• Proficiency in Indonesian Bahasa is required, with higher language skills regarded favorably.
