Role Overview

This role is a full-time position based on-site in Pune, intended for a Junior Interior Designer. Responsibilities include assisting senior designers by generating and refining design concepts, preparing architectural and construction drawings, and supporting client presentations. Daily activities encompass developing and revising floor plans, coordinating construction drawings, researching suitable materials and finishes, and aiding in the selection of furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E). Additionally, the role requires conducting site visits to take measurements and perform inspections, working alongside contractors and vendors, and ensuring the intended design impact is realized during project execution. The Junior Interior Designer will also contribute to project documentation, sample board preparation, and basic project coordination.

Qualifications and Skills Required

• Solid understanding of Interior Design and Space Planning with the capacity to convert client requirements into effective layouts.
• Familiarity with architectural principles and construction drawings relevant to residential and/or commercial interiors.
• Experience or formal training in FF&E selection, including furniture arrangements, fixtures, finishes, and materials.
• Proficiency with design and drafting software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or equivalent tools, along with basic presentation software like PowerPoint and Adobe Suite.
• Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Strong visual and design acuity, attention to detail, and adherence to established design standards.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate directly on-site with project teams, contractors, and suppliers.
• A willingness to learn, accept constructive criticism, and manage multiple responsibilities within project deadlines.
