Senior Architect / Design Manager

Overview

The Senior Architect / Design Manager serves as a visionary and technically proficient leader charged with crafting and overseeing superior architectural designs. This role demands exceptional creative talent for initial concept formulation, detailed technical development, and cross-disciplinary collaboration, underpinned by extensive expertise in BIM tools and methodology.

Key Responsibilities

• Create concept and schematic designs that reflect client goals and project criteria.
• Develop design narratives, visual concept boards, and detailed façade analyses.
• Effectively articulate and justify design ideas to clients and key stakeholders.
• Ensure consistent innovation and technical precision throughout each design phase.
• Lead and manage the architecture team across all phases of project delivery.
• Coordinate efforts with structural, MEP, and interior teams for holistic project integration.
• Review and sanction architectural drawings, ensuring compliance with Saudi Building Code (SBC) and Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing (MOMRAH) standards.
• Conduct rigorous QA/QC assessments to guarantee deliverables fulfill internal quality benchmarks.
• Steer BIM architectural workflow management and collaborate closely with the BIM Manager.
• Supervise Revit model creation, maintaining precision according to the Level of Development (LOD) standards for each project milestone.
• Maintain architectural digital asset libraries and uphold standards within Autodesk Collaborate Pro platform.
• Leverage BIM expertise to enhance coordination efficiency and communication across design teams.

Qualifications & Experience

• A Bachelor's Degree in Architecture is required, with preference for Master's or international design qualifications.
• Possess 12 to 15 years of architectural practice, including a minimum of 5 years in senior design leadership roles.
• Demonstrated strength in concept design and façade development processes.
• Advanced skills in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, Rhino, Enscape, and Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
• In-depth understanding of BIM workflows and experience with multidisciplinary project coordination.
• Must be registered with the Saudi Council of Engineers.
• Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Arabic is advantageous.
