Senior Architect

About the Role

BuildX Homes is seeking a creative and experienced Senior Architect to spearhead innovative residential and commercial projects from inception to completion. This position involves working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver superior construction outcomes.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead design and execution of residential and commercial architectural projects.
• Coordinate designs with structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) as well as interior design teams.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and secure necessary approvals.
• Manage client communications and expectations effectively.
• Guide and mentor project teams for seamless project delivery.
• Oversee construction documentation and site coordination activities.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch) is mandatory.
• 6 to 12 years of hands-on architectural experience focused on residential and commercial projects.
• Proficient in design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, or their equivalents.
• In-depth understanding of local building codes and approval processes.
• Demonstrated expertise in design integration with various engineering disciplines.
• Strong client management acumen coupled with leadership capabilities.

Preferred Expertise

• Experience with villas and independent homes development.
• End-to-end project management experience.
• Competence in construction documentation and site coordination.
