Role Overview
The Senior Analyst in the Fees Division is responsible for handling complex aspects of Accounts Receivable processes. Key duties include managing account setups, generating period-end invoices for specific clients, processing cash applications, conducting account audits during openings and closings, and participating in special billing projects. Acting as a primary point of contact, the analyst addresses fee calculations, analysis, and inquiries from business partners, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all fee-related tasks while understanding associated risks and their effects on financial statements and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer complex Accounts Receivable components such as client account setups, period-end invoice generation, cash applications, audits for account openings and closings, and special billing-related initiatives.
- Monitor fee data proactively for errors in calculations, inputs, and fee variances across periods.
- Serve as a subject matter expert by training and guiding new fee analysts.
- Prioritize daily assignments to meet productivity, accuracy, and timeliness standards set by the division.
- Collaborate with business partners to guarantee precise and punctual client invoicing and resolve billing concerns.
- Address client and partner fee inquiries promptly.
- Act as a liaison between Fee Billing, SOX compliance, auditors, and other operational teams to provide analytical and procedural insights.
- Cross-train on various fee areas to gain comprehensive operational knowledge.
- Support internal and external requests related to fee operations.
- Investigate complex fee transactions thoroughly.
- Engage in projects aimed at enhancing process efficiency and improvements.
- Report and escalate relevant issues to Fee Management and Leadership as necessary.
- Maintain and update policies, procedures, and implement best practices.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, or Payroll functions.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and problem-solving aptitude.
- Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities.
- Efficient time management with ability to prioritize and multi-task, providing timely feedback.
- Proactive, self-driven, capable of thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with adaptable work methods.
- Strong organizational skills and precision with close attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Proficient mathematical skills and advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent financial services industry knowledge.
