Senior Analog Design Manager

About the Role

Join our Research & Development team as a Senior Analog Design Manager, based in Cork, Ireland, and contribute to pioneering technology advancements. This role requires you to combine your creativity and technical expertise to create innovative solutions, lead transformative projects, and realize novel ideas in the semiconductor space.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and inspire a team of analog and mixed signal design engineers to achieve innovation and superior technical output.
• Formulate and communicate a technical vision focused on competitive automotive converters and precision analog technologies.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for IP development in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Oversee the design and production of analog and mixed-signal IP blocks for automotive microcontrollers adhering to high safety and quality benchmarks.
• Champion innovation in IP design by integrating new methodologies, tools, and technologies.
• Effectively report progress, challenges, and resource requirements to relevant stakeholders.
• Assume accountability for both technical guidance and personnel management within the team.
• Promote collaboration across multiple global locations, supporting various projects within the company.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• At least 10 years' experience in analog design, with particular emphasis on IP development.
• Proficient with analog design workflows and familiar with tools such as Cadence and Mentor.
• Deep understanding of IP verification techniques and methodologies.
• Experience integrating within System on Chip (SoC) architectures.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities managing high-performance design engineering teams.
• Excellent communication skills to clearly articulate ideas and proposals both orally and in writing.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
