Senior Active Directory Consultant

About the Role

Nair Systems is actively seeking a Senior Active Directory Consultant to join its team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise and a proven track record in managing and securing complex Active Directory environments, specifically supporting the company's operations in Doha.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive Active Directory health assessments
• Implement security hardening procedures for Active Directory
• Review and optimize Group Policy Objects architecture
• Assess and secure DNS infrastructure
• Evaluate multi-forest and complex trust relationships
• Perform identity security posture evaluations
• Address Tier-0 security remediation
• Execute Microsoft Entra ID security reviews
• Evaluate Active Directory Certificate Services for security compliance
• Develop documentation and transfer operational knowledge
• Create PowerShell automation scripts and operation runbooks

Required Skills and Experience

• Over 10 years of experience administering Active Directory
• At least 5 years focused on Active Directory security hardening
• Experience managing environments involving multiple forests, domains, complex trust setups, and hybrid identity deployments
• Expert-level proficiency in:
  • Active Directory Domain Services
  • Group Policy design, administration, and loopback processing
  • DNS architecture and security
  • Windows Server versions 2016, 2019, 2022, and 2025
  • Kerberos authentication
  • LDAP security
  • Active Directory replication
  • Active Directory Certificate Services and PKI infrastructure
  • PowerShell automation
  • Microsoft Entra ID and identity governance
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory hardening, identity threat detection, security posture management, Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions, Tier-0 security, Zero Trust architecture, security assessments, and attack path remediation

Preferred Certifications

• Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator (SC-300)
• Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect (SC-100)
• Microsoft Security Operations Analyst (SC-200)
• Microsoft Certified Windows Server Hybrid Administrator
