Semiconductor Specialist - AI Domain Expert

Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Semiconductor Reverse Engineering Specialist to function as the primary domain expert for our Eureka Materials AI Agent product. This role involves close collaboration with Product Managers and AI Engineers to convert deep semiconductor industry knowledge into structured knowledge systems, consistent analytical workflows, and specialized AI features tailored for the semiconductor domain.

Role Responsibilities

• Act as the semiconductor domain authority ensuring technical precision and real-world applicability within chip, device, and material reverse engineering contexts.
• Collaborate with product teams to establish real-life use cases, uniform analytical workflows, and industry standards consistent with professional practices.
• Work alongside AI engineers to translate reverse engineering proficiency into structured domain logic, prompts, technical frameworks, and benchmarks such as decapsulation protocols and material identification rules.
• Develop and refine domain knowledge bases, formalizing expert judgments, standardized analysis protocols, and industry expertise into reusable digital assets.
• Lead the creation of semiconductor-specific AI Skills, defining standards for intelligent data retrieval, advanced technical reasoning, and automated report generation.
• Ensure AI-generated outputs meet rigorous technical accuracy, feasibility, and align with global semiconductor trends through detailed validation.
• Engage in model assessment and analysis of failure cases, offering structured domain input to enhance AI inference accuracy and output reliability.
• Monitor global competitor roadmaps and advancements in the semiconductor industry, transforming this intelligence into actionable insights for product and strategy development.

• Contribute to shaping the Eureka Materials Agent into a reliable AI expert for semiconductor reverse engineering by integrating authoritative domain knowledge with artificial intelligence.
• Your specialized expertise will be crafted into scalable product functionalities and durable digital assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Microelectronics, Semiconductor Science, Materials Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline, with solid knowledge of device physics, process technologies, or failure analysis.
• At least 3 years of direct experience in semiconductor competitive intelligence, reverse engineering processes, device teardown, or technology intelligence.
• Strong capability in organizing complex technical knowledge into structured frameworks, consistent rules, and standardized evaluation criteria.
• A self-motivated, pragmatic, and transparent work approach with an enthusiastic interest in AI-driven industrial innovation.
• No requirement for programming, software engineering, or large language model training skills; engineering tasks are managed by the AI team while you provide domain-specific logical frameworks.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience working with leading industry intelligence organizations such as TechInsights, Yole Group, Lumenci, or leading semiconductor manufacturer technical analysis teams.
• Hands-on experience in creating knowledge bases, mapping business workflows, and codifying technical rules.
• Acquaintance with semiconductor raw material databases, patent analytics, or technical industry data platforms.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams to translate domain knowledge into AI-based product solutions.
• Strong passion for AI agents, large language models, and creating AI-powered skills within the industrial sector.

Additional Information

This position is an individual contributor role without management responsibilities and does not involve hands-on operation of lab equipment such as TEM/SEM or EDA tools. The role is based onsite in Singapore but offered remotely.
