Security Supervisor

Job Overview and Key Duties

The Security Supervisor role involves overseeing the security operations at warehouse facilities to ensure safety and compliance. Key tasks include managing security personnel performance based on set KPIs, maintaining surveillance systems such as CCTV, managing access control protocols, and ensuring perimeter protection.

Additional responsibilities cover administrative duties such as compiling daily, weekly, and monthly security reports as well as handling communications via email and phone calls. Conducting incident investigations, performing route surveys, and carrying out audits of security vendors are also vital components of this role. The position requires continuous evaluation and enhancement of security procedures to maintain an effective safety environment. Furthermore, it includes developing and delivering training programs to raise awareness on security practices, prevention methods, and response actions among staff and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possession of a high school diploma with a minimum of three years' relevant work experience.
• Experience or training in military or police service is considered an advantage.
• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• Proficiency with computers, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint applications.
• Strong communication capabilities in both English and Swahili, including verbal and written skills.
