Role Overview

The Security Supervisor is accountable for the protection of guests, staff, assets, and hotel property, operating under the Chief Security Officer’s guidance. This role involves managing security operations to meet Wyndham standards, ensuring operational effectiveness, enforcing safety protocols, and maintaining guest satisfaction while fostering a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Possess comprehensive knowledge of hotel services and products to make informed recommendations to guests and staff.
• Adhere strictly to hotel policies, procedures, and UAE regulations.
• Lead the security department in the Chief Security Officer’s absence, ensuring a secure, professional, and responsive service environment aligned with hotel performance standards.
• Conduct at least one patrol per shift covering all property areas, identifying and reporting anomalies.
• Execute emergency drills, daily security and safety inspections, investigations, interviews, oversee grooming standards, and manage key control procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation including security logs, incident reports, key control records, lost and found inventories, quarantine lists, visitor and gate passes.
• Investigate and produce impartial incident reports regarding theft, accidents, injuries, property damages, vandalism, and unauthorized access involving guests, visitors, or staff.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of five years of professional security experience.
• Possession of a valid Security Supervisor License (SIRA).
• Thorough familiarity with security protocols and processes.
• Strong management and supervisory abilities.
• Proficient in written and oral communication.
• Competent in delivering training on security policies and procedures.
• Ability to handle confidential and classified information securely.
• Additional security-related certifications or training considered advantageous.
