Security Solution Architect, APJC Customer Security

Role Overview

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is recruiting a Secure AI Solution Architect to join the APJC Customer Security team. In this role, you will transform validated secure AI methods into standardized, deployable reference implementations. The aim is to address common customer concerns in AI security such as autonomous agent identity, defense against prompt injection, AI governance, and regulatory compliance across the APJC region.

Key Responsibilities

• Create practical, ready-to-use reference implementations from validated Secure AI approaches including agentic-AI identity patterns, AI security frameworks, lifecycle controls, and governance evidence mechanisms.
• Validate these patterns against real customer requirements and continuously enhance them based on feedback.
• Produce comprehensive code, architecture diagrams, and documentation that enable Solutions Architects across different areas to implement them without requiring specialists.
• Collaborate with AWS service teams (e.g., Bedrock, AgentCore, SageMaker) to integrate field insights into product directions and translate product capabilities into field-ready solutions.
• Stay updated on emerging AWS AI and security features and convert these into reference implementations as they become available.
• Gather and relay customer feedback and gaps into feature requests to influence future product development.

Typical Day

Your day may include coding an agentic-identity solution in response to cross-account authorization issues, engaging with service teams to refine guidance, developing lifecycle control implementations, and sharing finished work with go-to-market and community teams to facilitate broad adoption.

Team Context

The APJC Customer Security team accelerates secure AI adoption by balancing security, risk management, and regulatory compliance. You will be one of two architects building scalable technical foundations that serve both the Secure AI and AI for Security programs, connecting product teams with customer-facing field teams.

Basic Qualifications

• At least 4 years of expertise in relevant technology areas such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data analytics.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in application or infrastructure design, implementation, or consulting.
• Over 10 years of IT development or consulting experience within software or Internet sectors.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in software development or Internet-based industries.
• Experience migrating or transforming legacy systems to cloud platforms.
• Hands-on experience with AWS technologies from development or operations perspectives.
