Security Officer - Relief

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer - Relief to join 14Forty on a full-time basis, contracted to 48 hours weekly. In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding our customers, personnel, and premises while delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities

• Serve as an enthusiastic collaborator and clear communicator within the team.
• Monitor and control access to buildings and nearby areas.
• Execute effective and safe security operations.
• Maintain the security and integrity of the premises.
• Assist visitors and the public with inquiries.
• Represent 14Forty positively to uphold the company’s brand image.

Requirements

• Currently hold or be eligible to obtain a valid SIA license.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
• Demonstrate perseverance and resilience in challenging situations.
• Experience delivering excellent customer service.
• Maintain a professional and smart appearance.
• Display initiative and collaborate effectively as a team member.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Understand relevant health & safety guidelines and criminal laws pertaining to the role.

Shift Details

Work hours involve rotating shifts with a commitment to a specified number of weeks annually under contract.
