Security Officer

Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Security Officer to work full-time, contributing 42 hours weekly to maintain a safe environment for our customers, team, and premises at 14Forty.

Job Duties

• Actively participate as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and visitors.
• Oversee the entry and exit points of the buildings and adjacent areas to control access.
• Operate security protocols efficiently to ensure a safe working environment.
• Maintain the security and safety of the site at all times.
• Assist visitors and members of the public with inquiries and general information.
• Project a positive and professional image of 14Forty while on duty.

Candidate Profile

• Must possess or be eligible to obtain a valid SIA license.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build connections easily.
• Show determination and resilience in challenging situations.
• Proven track record in delivering excellent customer service.
• Neat and professional appearance.
• Self-motivated with the capability to take initiative and work well within a team.
• Ability to remain composed and effective under pressure.
• Attention to detail in all aspects of work performance.
• Knowledge of relevant health & safety practices, criminal law, and security operations.

Working Conditions

The standard shift pattern is four days on followed by four days off.
