Security Officer

Role Overview

As a Security Officer with G4S located in Dungannon, Northern Ireland, you will play a pivotal role in the Northern Ireland Regional Guarding team across various private and commercial sites. You will be entrusted with protecting customers, their staff, buildings, and valuables while delivering outstanding customer service with a positive attitude. This position involves a range of duties such as greeting staff and visitors, enforcing security protocols, performing searches, patrolling premises, and managing security incidents. The role promises variety and engaging daily tasks with opportunities for career advancement.

Working Hours and Compensation

The role operates on a day shift schedule from 7am to 7pm, totaling 42 hours per week. The hourly pay rate is £12.71.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate must be at least 18 years old and possess strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset. A friendly, professional service approach is expected at all times. Basic IT proficiency is essential. Candidates should be flexible to work varied shifts including days, nights, and weekends. While previous security experience and an SIA licence are beneficial, they are not mandatory as full SIA licence training is provided. Since the role is mobile, a full clean driving licence and access to personal transport are required.
