Role Summary

Key Duties
- Train security personnel in surveillance, reporting, record maintenance, patrol duties, and first aid.
- Relay management communications effectively to security teams.
- Regularly inspect security staff performance and vigilance through patrols and checks.
- Lead all criminal investigations within hotel premises, preparing required documentation and reports.
- Monitor hotel staff behavior to ensure compliance with established policies, tracking suspects as needed.
- Manage emergency response logistics and direct emergency personnel during incidents involving fire, bomb threats, police, or medical emergencies.
- Ensure all security hardware, including cameras, is functioning correctly and properly maintained.
- Maintain routine checks and accountability for security materials such as logbooks, passes, keys, and post assignments.
- Develop intelligence sources to obtain information critical for crime prevention and detection.
- Document department activities daily and provide VIP guest security coverage.
- Remain on-call to address emergencies, including outside regular working hours.
- Conduct performance reviews and identify development opportunities for team members.
- Oversee uniforms, demeanor, and professionalism of security staff consistently.
- Deliver comprehensive induction sessions and ongoing training targeted at evolving business requirements.
- Prepare weekly staffing schedules based on business forecasts, budgets, and service standards.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of hotel fire, life safety, and emergency protocols.
- Follow hotel policies and attend all mandated meetings and trainings.
- Adhere to punctuality and wear proper, neat uniforms consistently.
- Uphold personal grooming and hygiene standards at all times.
- Undertake other reasonable tasks assigned by hotel management.
Qualifications and Skills
- Secondary or high school diploma.
- Certification in National Skills Recognition System along with CPR, First Aid, and Basic Fire Fighting training.
- At least two years of relevant experience in a comparable role.
- Proficient reading, writing, and speaking abilities in English.
- Clean criminal background.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal communication capabilities.
- Integrity, honesty, and exemplary confidentiality.
- Calmness under pressure with quick decision-making skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on service and results.
- Able to multitask and perform well in high-stress environments.
- Team-oriented mindset and self-motivated approach to work.
- Professional appearance and grooming at all times.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic languages is required.
