Job description
Overview
The Security Manager is responsible for supervising all facets of security, safety, compliance, risk control, and fleet logistics within the resort environment. This role ensures a protected, compliant, and efficient atmosphere for guests, staff, and resort properties while upholding emergency preparedness, operational governance, and guest confidentiality. The position supports the wellness-focused mission of Jayasom through exemplary standards of safety, security, and operational management.
Key Duties and Operational Responsibilities
- Supervise daily security activities such as CCTV monitoring, patrol management, access control, incident response, and investigation procedures.
- Manage fire safety protocols, first aid preparedness, lost and found administration, and emergency response aligning with Jayasom and RSG standards.
- Lead and coordinate Emergency Response and Fire Brigade teams by organizing training sessions, drills, and emergency simulation exercises.
- Conduct compliance audits, safety inspections, and risk evaluations to ensure strict adherence to resort standard operating procedures and Saudi regulatory obligations.
- Maintain and verify security, fire, safety, and emergency systems functionality including equipment testing and proper documentation.
- Oversee resort vehicle fleet operations, including control, maintenance schedules, and transportation coordination for staff.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Facilities, Culinary, Housekeeping, and other departments to manage logistics and delivery needs effectively.
- Develop and maintain crisis management plans, emergency protocols, performance indicators, and compliance documents, fostering continuous enhancements in processes.
Qualifications and Skills
- Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Security, Risk Management, or a related discipline; additional certifications are advantageous.
- Between three to five years experience in security or compliance management, ideally within a luxury hospitality setting.
- Proficient understanding of security systems, fire safety, emergency response procedures, risk management principles, and relevant Saudi national regulations.
- Experience handling logistics, fleet operations, CCTV technology, and access control methodologies.
- Exemplary leadership capabilities paired with effective communication, analytical problem-solving, and crisis management skills.
- Maintains a professional, discreet, and dependable demeanor and performs effectively in high-pressure scenarios.
