Security Guard

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Security Guard to work on-site at various retail-related environments in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada. This role requires active patrolling, preventing theft, and assisting clients and guests with special needs to maintain a safe and secure environment.

Languages

Fluency in English is required.

Education Requirements

• No specific degree, certificate, or diploma necessary.

Experience

Candidates should have between 7 months and less than 1 year of relevant experience.

Work Environment

• Work must be performed on-site; remote work is not permitted.
• Assigned work settings include retail service establishments, retail/wholesale establishments or distribution centers, and shopping centers or malls.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to clients and guests with special needs.
• Conduct patrols in designated areas to ensure safety.
• Detect and prevent shoplifting and theft in retail outlets.

Credentials and Certifications

• BST1 and BST2 course certifications.
• Possession of a valid Security Guard License.
